The Sino-Japan teachers’seminar was held in the Development Zone Campus of Dalian University of Technology

International School of Information Science & Engineering, Dalian University of Technology and Ritsumeikan University (DUT-RUISE)was founded in 2013 under the approval of theState Ministry of Education, and recruited first batch of students in 2014. Currently, the teaching is under smooth operation in orderly manner. In order to promote extensive exchanges of teachers in scientific research,the Sino-Japan teachers’ seminar was held in the Development Zone Campus of DUT on March 18.

The meeting is chaired by Professor Liu Yu,assistant dean ofDUT-RUISE, Jiang He,Vice Dean of School of Software of DUT, subject teachers including Kong Weiqiang, Fan Xin, Liang Wenxin, Lin Lin, Han Xin, Zhou Yong and student representatives attended the meeting.

The meeting was held at C510 in the teaching building ofDevelopment Zone Campus. Li Liang, from School of Information of Ritsumeikan University, first introduced the research and major achievements of various disciplines in Ritsumeikan University.He put the “mountain spear parade”,supported by the Japanese Ministry of Education Fund, as the main line for his report, to integrate the research results of Ritsumeikan University in recent years. Under the guidance of the virtual reality technology, everyone seemed to be immersed in the real scene, experiencing the Japanese traditional culture parade.

After the Introduction, teachers and students had a warm discussion. Liang Wenxin, Lin Lin and several other subject teachers expressed hope for cooperation and communication between Dalian University of Technology and Ritsumeikan University.

After seminar, teachers from both sides exchanged contact information, looking forward to a deeper level of cooperation and communication.
